We missed question #27 because we believed that the author wanted to show us Microsofts many talented people. Next time we will annotate and take our time to analyze the story before making conclusions. We missed question #31 because he didn't "misunderstand" the importance of technology, he witnessed the decline of the industry. Next time we will use context clues to infer how the authors father felt. We missed question #32 because we didn't believed the word "respectful" fit both the stories correctly. Next time we will look up the word in the dictionary and predict which word fits the best. We missed question #46 because we believed that he was lonely and wanted to learn new things. Next time we will analyze and read between the lines, then infer the correct answer.

my peer and I were formally wrong in question number 17 because of the reason of our ignorance of the comma placement. we also got question number 30 wrong because of the misunderstanding of the word "crusty." in addition we got question number 31 incorrect due to confusion between both characters. in conclusion we both got question number 32 wrong for the reason of misunderstanding of the tone of the story or article.

Question number 20:
What change should be made in sentence 15?
"can't wait to climb on the helicopter."
We both put H, which was "change can't to Can't".
We both got question 20 wrong because we thought that when there is quotation marks, we need to capitalize the first word. But, the right answer was J, which was "Delete the quotation marks at the end of the sentence."
Question number 27:
Why does the author end the article with a quotation?
Both of us put D, which was "To show the reader that Microsoft employs many talented people" We got it wrong because we both thought it was to illustrate readers on Microsoft employs. The right answer was C, which was "to interest the reader in following Teevan's contributions.
Question number 23:
In the article, what is the most likely reason Teevan wouldn't discuss the commercial release of her programs?
We both put D, which is "Microsoft is responsible for the programs' release. We both were between C and D , but we chose D because we were overthinking about which one is correct. the correct answer was C, "Microsoft's competitors might use the information to develop similar programs."
Question number 40: The author begins and ends the selection with references to successful battles in order to -
We put G, which is "indicate that the war would have been lost without the Code Talkers". Both of us got it incorrect because we both didn't understand the question or the answer choices. The correct answer was H, "emphasize the Code Talkers' contribution to the war effort.

I missed number 5 because the answer I chose doesn't give as much of a detail as the question is asking for also some vocabulary threw me off the topic . Next time i will read the question and answer choices more carefully to fully understand it.
I missed number 7 because it was asking to clearly establish the thesis of Kate's paper and i didn't clearly establish it i just gave a specific detail and that wasn't what i needed to do. Next time i will go back and read the story all over again and clearly understand.
I missed number 43 it was talking over the Navajo code and i chose the answer that was talking about the pentagon and had nothing to do with the World War II not about the Navajo code.
I missed number 49 because i didn't infer what the question was asking for i chose what the author had done before.
