QUESTION #38 We both chose answer J because of how they use the word "clandestine" in the story, it makes it seem like the word means strategy.

2. We didn't know where to insert the sentence, we thought it belonged after sentence 7 :[ 20. Since can't is part of the first word of a quote we thought we had to capitalize it . 32. We didn't know how to tell the tones of both selections . 46. we didn't understand what the metaphor was saying

Question 33 In order to have answer this question you'd have to read and understand the stories. we didn't really understand the meaning of this story therefore we got it wrong.

Question 46 In order to answer this question correctly we had to have found the metaphor in paragraph 8. Then look for a deeper meaning in the metaphor not just gloss it over and think that the literal meaning is the answer.

Question 37 You have to read more than the couple words it says to look at in lines 14 and 15. To know that the grandmother is restricted you had to read where it said "colored" and make the interpretation that she couldn't do much.

Question 34 At the beginning of the poem it seemed to be about a hurricane when it state,"they opened the rest of this beach to us." We had to finish reading the poem to know it was about desegregation where it said "colored".

Question 32 was incorrect because the tone to the story was respectful and the other options were not reasonable to the story tone.

Hello Everyone.
I admit that I missed a few questions. (It's hard to believe right?) I missed Question 20 because I thought that the person was speaking. It asked what changed should've been made in sentence and I picked "H". Letters F & G were illogical and were wrong. Again, because I thought someone was speaking I picked H and not the correct answer J. I also missed question 46 because I misinterpreted the passage (slightly because I was stressed out and decided to draw all over my test). Question 11 was also a problem I missed. I swear at first I picked the correct answer, but I went back and changed my mind (I honestly don't know why I did that). The last question I missed was question 25. I always have a problem with these types of questions! I thought that the article was arranged by profiling Teevan's current and future projects, but apparently I was wrong.
I guess I missed simple questions (I still cant believe it) because I was stressed and was running out of ink to draw. This just goes to show that next time I'm going to bring extra ink when I test (and that you shouldn't waste your time drawing).
